link-it is project development proposal accompanied by a schematic architectural design for a mixed program cultural building on a central site in Helsinki. The programmatic and conceptual project development proposal was designed by Kivi Sotamaa in Collaboration with Antti Ahlava and the schematic building design was conceived by Kivi Sotamaa and his OSU design studio group. The link-it building would include the art and technology research galleries, Helsinki city library, non profit cultural organisations, film archives, event spaces, theaters and s design hotel. The project was made public in Helsingin Sanomat 2005. At the moment the city is running an international architecture competition on the site of our proposal for the Helsinki City Library.
